Sunday Velo Sesion : Walikota Cup 2013

Last December 2013, we got opportunity to participate in Walikota Malang Cup (Malang City Mayor Cup) hosted by ISSI (Indonesia Association of Sport Cycling).  This was the second time ISSI Malang held a special race for fixed gear (previous was legal fixed gear criterium) and this time they included fixed gear individual time trial and fixed gear scratch race. And they issued that this gonna be a reguler race for every 3 months. We really gratitude to ISSI for this!  Here some photo from the event, too bad the rain fall really hard at the end of the event, so we missed the podium ceremony.

Beerday Long Distance Ride

Last week, one of our crew and also founder of Ekta Bags Work turn into 25 yo. So, we consider to do long distance ride. It supposed to be a 100 kilometers ride, but actually we just did a half of it due to the some technical and physical condition of the ride contenders (since we more like to hang out with some beer than anything else. Lol).  Afterall what you expect from the cycling other than fun itself?  Variantyan took some random photo, check out the rest of the photos here .

Yes! Another beast from Mr. Ige Yonnas was born. It was great opportunity to ride it at its home. As you can see on photos above, Velodrome Malang had finished the whole renovation. Just the right playground for this beast.

Raka's Leader Kagero 2011

While this frame is good looking yet left a controversion about its geometry and head badge/decal.  One of our member Rakadio got this frame with very excellent condition and built it great.  And of course every fixie-kids will be envy with those aerospoke :)

in 2011 SUMVELO X CYCLONESIA launched their very first frameset debut, named PIAS. PIAS means track. Whether it's the velodrome, mud track, or any track, let's bash it good.
